Competition for startup ideas in the field of Information Technology – TECH STARTUP CHALLENGER 2023 is organized with the aim of creating opportunities for students of the Faculty of Information Technology in particular and students of Ton Duc Thang University in general to have more knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship, thereby promoting the spirit of innovation and looking for good startup ideas about technology.

The contest was launched on May 12, 2023. After 2 months of competing, conceptualizing and realizing projects, the best teams have officially entered the exciting but extremely attractive fundraising round of the “Tech Startup Challenger 2023″, organized by the Faculty of Information Technology on July 22.
The event was sponsored/accompanied by organizations/enterprises specializing in IT: Vietnam Software and IT Services (Vinasa), Job Test Co., Ltd., Opus Solution Co., Ltd., VIT Academy Joint Stock Company, X-Profile Technology Joint Stock Company and especially, mentors and judges who are Directors, COOs, CTOs, Co-Founders of prestigious start-ups. In addition, the event attracted a large number of students, lecturers and experts in the field of information technology. The startup competition aims to encourage the creative spirit, help students apply their acquired knowledge in practice and develop information technology at the Faculty’s and school’s movement activities.
In the final round, the teams presented their startup ideas and products through presentations to the judges. The ideas are diverse, from practical applications, solutions, technology application, AI to potential business strategies through projects. The judges appreciated the creativity, applicability and development potential of each product idea and provided recommendations and suggestions to help the teams perfect their ideas and accelerate the realization of the startup.

With careful preparation, 3 teams with impressive presentations convinced the Judges and Sponsors to bring home the final victory, including:
First Prize: Team TRIPSY with project TRIPSY -Tourist Assistant
Second Prize: Team QRAQT with Q Ride Park project
Third prize: HKTM team with Blockchain platform application project to ensure transparency and safety in charity

The Start Up Competition of the Faculty of Information Technology witnessed the creativity and potential of the students. New business ideas and startups can have a very promising future. The competition has created an opportunity for students to explore and show off their talents in the field of information technology.
